While at PiXPO, Kevin worked on a number of projects. These projects involved some advanced CSS, AJAX, developing for mobile devices, working with embedded video and flash video, ipod and psp formats. The list goes on....

The Pixpo engine could output HTML and in a three-way combination of client, server and web browser, we hooked the system together to create this multi-source output. For a viewer it looked like you were simple viewing a webpage -- in a way, yes, but it was more advanced then that.

We connected the a Pixpo client directly to this site and videos could be added to the client and they would automatically show up here.

MachinimaHQ.com

Machinima HQ has a the first portal niche site we created. The idea was to hook up multiple Pixpo clients into this portal and machinima producers could easily add content and contribute to the portal. Great idea, complex, and it turned out that we didn't have the resources to implement it.

Mixpo - client view

Pixpo evolved into Mixpo, a simplified peer2web client that uploaded its media to a central server. Some of the former technology was re-written into the Mixpo client however over time, less and less p2p technology was incorporated.
