Site Maintenance

Cool New media has been maintaining and releasing new versions of web sites since 1997 -- and we are pretty confident that we know how to do it right without any distruption to customers or servers.

We view each change on a website as unique release, however depending on the type of release, files and content, or maintenance we preform, appropriate and only necessary steps are taken.  In the case of a large change/release, the full release process involves:

• prepare release candidate (release package)
• pre-release quality assurance and testing
• server monitoring
• release package upload and ready deployment
• release cutover
• post-release site review (vet)
• log and server monitoring for errors
• and post release management of the web systems.

For smaller simple updates such as new content additions and content changes, a simple add and update model is suffecient.

Maintenance also means the ongoing publishing of fresh material (graphics and text) both directly to a site in HTML or through a content management system.  This new material does not necessarily impact the business systems of the web site and changes can and often happen relatively quickly.

• New extension advisory service and how new extensions can be leveraged.

Drupal Maintenance

For our Drupal clients, we offer a maintenance package that includes:
